Career History

  • May 2022 - Present

    As a member of the Product Team, I lead several projects as well as coordinate with my team to further develop the design and functionality of existing products. I have directed the launch of 2 new lines in our digital product (working closely with Engineers), designing the entirety of the product from the look to the function. On top of my Design role, I was also the Data Analyst for my team. Gathering and analyzing data from thousands of daily users to pinpoint what features of our product needed to be prioritized when making improvements. With the information I was able to gather and organize, I created a live mapping system that allowed the company to see the exact pathing our users would take in the product and any issues they faced. This let the Product Team determine exactly what functions and flows needed to be changed to allow our users the have an optimal and smooth experience with our product.

  • Apr 2022 - Nov 2022

    As the lead designer for the APAC (Asia-Pacific) team, designed any digital products that FamilySearch had in association to the APAC region. Doing extensive UX research for the 16+ APAC countries' cultures, languages, and religions to better understand and optimally create localized and culturalized designs and content. Worked with the engineering/development team to create components and features that could be implemented into their existing digital products, as well as for any new products to be built. Created user workflows, diagrams, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes in Figma to visualize and communicate important behaviors and interactions to other members in the APAC team.

  • Oct2021 - Sep 2022

    Leading the design team as a UX/UI Designer, working in tandem with the development team to update the front end of all their programs, software, and websites. Conducting research to better redesign the UX to optimize the user's wants/needs. Creating custom UI system designs from scratch so that all designs implemented are consistent and cohesive to the company.

  • Mar 2020 - Oct 2021

    Started out working as a Graphic Designer, designing landing pages and other advertisement media for companies such as: 3M, Loctite, GorillaPro (H.B. Fuller), and many others. Eventually becoming an UX/UI Designer, redesigning the company's entire website from scratch, working with the development team and the marketing team. Doing UX research to better understand the optimal layout for the web pages and functionality, as well as creating a complete UI systems design by myself to be implemented in the new web design.

  • Mar 2019 - Mar 2020

    Created/updated the designs for the packaging of over 20+ products while following style guidelines that I helped redesign. I also created any advertisement pages for magazines and digital media in cooperation with the copywriters.

  • Sep 2017 - May 2019

    Designed and created any marketing or promotional items that the University needed, along with any clients/partners of the school. Created exemplary designs for posters, banners, and any digital displays for large events or organizations. Also helped create the company/university's styling guidelines.
